The Festival features ‘incredible illustrations and brilliant books’, and will showcase new and existing illustrated children’s literature.
The programme includes free creative drop-in workshops, storytelling sessions, advice on how to write and illustrate your own book, appearances from some of the nation’s favourite children’s authors and illustrators and lots more. The programme for the festival was officially launched by Nicky Morgan MP on Friday 2nd October when she visited Booth Wood Primary School in Loughborough.
